'Everything in Moderation' is a smart mantra for our increasingly high pressure lifestyles. With binge drinking on the rise and an increasing number of young people suffering from alcohol-related disease, knowing your limits has never been more important.

The maximum amount of alcohol units considered part of a healthy lifestyle is 21 per week for men, and 14 per week for women One single measure or shot of vodka is a unit - so if you're drinking doubles, you're glugging twice as many units. Stick to singles where possible, and if you're planning a big night, try and drink a glass of water between each cocktail to slow yourself down. Never drink and drive, and make sure you know where your friends are should you need to call it a night.

Remember, vodka is a refined, considered spirit, distilled with love and care. Enjoy it in the manner in which it was created!
